The Federation receives income from Everywhen Insurance Brokers in respect of policies taken out by affiliated clubs and societies.

Federation Insurance Scheme
The provision for Insurance to cover Model Engineering activities both in private and in public is essential, whether it is to provide security against claims for damage, theft, accident and other events that are a potential feature of everyday life. We are pleased to have a long-standing relationship with Everywhen Insurance Brokers, formally known as Walter Midgley who can provide a policy with selectable features to cover most aspects of Model Engineering activity. This policy is available to affiliated member clubs and more detail can be found if you are able to log in.
If you are a member of an affiliated club, then ask your club officers to investigate the possibilities. You can contact Everywhen directly of course using the information on this page, however, access to this scheme requires you to be a club affiliated to the Federation of Model Engineering Societies.

Have you thought about using the Federation Insurance Scheme?
There has been a change to the administration of the Federation’s Insurance Scheme during 2020.
It is still arranged by Everywhen Insurance Brokers with policies issued from early 2021 underwritten by Travelers Insurance Company Limited.

Renewal dates may be at any time during the year and cover can be amended also at any time during the year.
The Everywhen trade stand also attends many exhibitions and steam rallies. They will be pleased to answer any questions that you may have – or just simply go and have a chat with them!
Do not forget that the Federation will receive a commission from Everywhen from the policies they write on our scheme, thereby providing much-needed income for the Federation.
