FMES AUTUMN RALLY 2023

Our host for 2023 is Frimley and Ascot Locomotive Club (FALC) and the impressive facility that is built and operated by the Club, called ‘Frimley Lodge Miniature Railway’, includes a kilometre long multi-gauge ground level track winding its way through a country park, and a raised track for owners of smaller locomotives.

The rally will be on Saturday, 16 September 2023, at

Frimley Lodge Park, between 10am and 5pm.

There will be opportunities to visit on Friday 15th and Sunday 17th September as well, please see the club website for details. The Rally is an open event for all members of clubs that themselves are members of one of the representative organisations contributing to the national standards for steam and miniature railway operation. On the day of the Rally, all visitors with eligible locomotives are invited to enter the two competitions that will be held. These are the regular Australian Association of Live Steamers (AALS) trophy (FMES affiliated club members only) and the newly launched Federation Autumn Rally Competition. The rules and other information can be found as follows:

Whilst it is not necessary to register to enter the competitions in advance, to aid organisation (not the least catering!) FALC would like to estimate potential attendance, so your help to let them know if you want to come would be appreciated.

We do hope to see you on the day, quite apart from the opportunity to see a variety of models, it is a great opportunity for us to meet our members personally, and also a chance for you to meet us and perhaps understand a little more about what we endeavour to do! If you want more information, please contact us or the host club

The club’s brochure for the event is available here.
