We are pleased to welcome the Warrington & District Model Engineering Society as a new member of the Federation.
The aim of Warrington & District Model Engineering Society is to encourage and develop the skills & art of engineering through the construction of model, small scale, prototypical machines.
The Society encourages the development of engineering knowledge in an atmosphere of mutual respect and friendliness whilst promoting the appreciation of engineering, and its history to both our membership and local public where possible.
Their main interests are centered on the comprehensive railway system at Betty’s Wood, Daresbury, Warrington where they have a raised level 5” and 3 ½” track for their members to run their locomotives.
