Membership Definitions

One of more officers of the Affiliated Club who are impacted by SFED activities are supported by the Club Affiliation.

At least 1 associates are required for each club.

A Model Engineering Society that is affiliated to the Southern Federation.

The contact must be an Organisation whose name is prefixed by the word Club and it must not have more than 20 members. The setting of the result to the joining fee means that the cheapest eligible one is chosen.

Affiliated Club – Medium

A Model Engineering Society that is affiliated to the Federation.

The contact must be an Organisation whose name is prefixed by the word Club and it must not have more than 100 members. The setting of the result to the joining fee means that the cheapest eligible one is chosen.

One of more officers of the Affiliated Club who are impacted by SFED activities are supported by the Club Affiliation.

At least 1 associates are required for each clubMedium.

A person who is a Member can also be an associate of a club.

At least 0 associates are required for each clubMedium.

A person who is a Newsletter Recipient can also be an associate of a club.

At least 0 associates are required for each clubMedium.

Affiliated Club – Large

A Model Engineering Society that is affiliated to the Southern Federation.

The contact must be an Organisation whose name is prefixed by the word Club; there is no limitation on number of members. The setting of the result to the joining fee means that the cheapest eligible one is chosen.

One of more officers of the Affiliated Club who are impacted by SFED activities are supported by the Club Affiliation.

At least 1 associates are required for each clubLarge.

A person who is a Member can also be an associate of a club.

At least 0 associates are required for each clubLarge.

A person who is a Newsletter Recipient can also be an associate of a club.

At least 0 associates are required for each clubLarge.

Club Officer

A person who is the officer of an Affiliated Club.

The contact must be a Person and must have a relationship as an associate to a main member – eg by being a club officer. This will always be chosen if the conditions apply.

Member

[member]

A person who is the officer of the FMES and therefore a guarantor under the guarantee.

The contact must be a person who has a role in the Federation. As this is membership type is persistent it will not transfer to Club Officer on renewal if the person also holds a club office.

Fellow

[fellow]

A person who is not any other type of member but who assists the FMES including with administration and attendance at exhibitions and therefore is a named member of the Federation for insurance purposes.

The contact must be nominated by a manager or be a manager who is retiring. As this is membership type is persistent it will not transfer to another membership grade on renewal.

Newsletter Recipient

A person who is not otherwise a corporate member of the Federation, but wishes to receive a copy of the Newsletter. The charge appropriate for the newsletter is determined under the newsletter option granted.

The contact must be a person who has a newsletter delivery option other than withhold.
